Role Overview 

We are looking for a Marketing Operations Manager focused on optimizing digital sales & marketing processes, managing lead flow, and analyzing revenue performance to drive pipeline, conversion, and growth. This individual will empower our sales and marketing teams to execute, optimize, and expand data-driven strategies for business growth, user segmentation, and engagement across channels. 

The ideal candidate can align marketing operations with sales enablement to support Marketing and Sales teams with impactful training, strategies, reporting & analyses, and best practices within a data-driven ecosystem.

Primary role responsibilities

  • Serve as a bridge between Sales & Marketing to help drive more data-driven selling and accelerate the lead qualification and conversion process.
  • Optimize the use of platforms to drive measurable, reportable lead activity and full funnel pipeline conversion.
  • Manage marketing automation for a range of campaigns and programs; support campaign execution, campaign architecture, lead management, target list creation, and segmentation.
  • Manage attribution strategy, ensure accurate measurement, tracking and reporting of campaign performance and ROI.
  • Work cross-functionally with stakeholders in marketing and sales to remove friction and ensure effective lead-lifecycle management processes are in place. 
  • Create and maintain marketing automation workflows in Hubspot to deliver the right marketing assets to the right audience at the right time, with the ultimate goal of driving qualified opportunities for the Sales team. 
  • Work with Salesforce Admins to ensure data is flowing consistently and accurately across CRMs; ensure the accuracy and cleanliness of CRM data, and build out a dashboard of reports to inform funnel metrics.
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement Manager to cross-educate Sales and Marketing teams and optimize SLAs between the two departments with a foundation of data best practices.
  • Maintain operational best practices including list management, email deliverability, optimization, and data quality and hygiene.
  • Work closely with the Director of Demand Generation to implement new lead generation and nurture programs.
  • Regularly analyze data and provide recommendations to enhance marketing and sales effectiveness.
  • Establish and enforce digital marketing best practices across the organization, including CAN SPAM and PII compliance, campaign naming conventions, and  .

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5-10 years in a digital marketing, marketing operations or marketing automation role, preferably Hubspot  
  • 5+ years of CRM experience, preferably Salesforce 
  • Proficient user of Salesforce, familiarity with automation rules and triggers a plus
  • A results-oriented mindset with passion for professional development
  • Ability to build rapport across all levels of an organization
  • Ability to contribute towards engaging training for sales and marketing team members

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce 
  • Working knowledge of Outreach
  • Lead management experience 
  • Sales onboarding experience 
  • Knowledge or experience in the early childhood and/or K-12 education industry 
  • Familiarity with multiple selling methodologies (MEDDIC, BANT, Challenger)
