About the role:
The Revenue Accountant role is a key finance interface with the JCDecaux business providing business insight and analysis to assist the executive team understand key trends and financials of the business.
A Day in the Life:
Whilst there’s no typical day in the dynamic world of media, you can expect your role to involve the following:
- Weekly sales reporting delivered weekly on time with use of power BI
- Flash report on a monthly basis
- Monthly revenue reconciliations to the General Ledger
- Assisting with calculation and posting bad debt provisions, agency rebates, agency commission journals and daily sales adjustments as required
- Management of the installation accrual and cost accounting for the installation function
- Own calculation of NZ sales comms
- Assist with calculation AU sales commissions
- Involvement with the annual and half year external audits and ensure all audit queries are addressed within the audit timetable
About You:
- Demonstrated accounting experience
- Degree qualified
- CPA or CA qualified or nearing completion
- Able to summarise complex data and provide meaningful analysis
- Attention to detail
- Advanced excel skills
