Job Description

As the Responsible Sourcing Impact Manager in the Sustainability Team, you'll be part of a diverse group that’s all about learning, growing, and committed to make a difference —just the way we like it!

Your main focus will be to drive the delivery of our Responsible Sourcing Impact Framework enhancing our evidence-based approach to create value for the business and manage risk. We're not just looking for expertise, but also someone with strong people skills and a drive to succeed. You'll play a key role in making a real impact in our value chain.

Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:

  • Maintain and evolve monitoring, evaluation and learning efforts to measure impacts and deliver internal and external reporting;
  • Data Analysis and Analytics: Lead Responsible sourcing data strategy to deliver insights and indicators to publicly share progress and forecast trends that inform decision making;
  • Pursue the delivery and evolution of JDE Peet’s Responsible Sourcing Strategy and policies to deliver JDE Peet’s ambition to create a better future for coffee and tea;
  • Being a spokesperson for sustainability, embedding sustainability into decision forums and transitioning the organization towards its sustainability objectives

Qualifications

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of sustainability experience, successfully managing global agricultural commodities and complex supply chains.
  • Proven experience in developing and leading teams, driving results through both direct and indirect influence.
  • Strong project management and leadership capabilities, including managing large-scale initiatives.
  • Language skills: Professional English, with excellent writing skills. Proficiency in Portuguese and Spanish is a plus.
  • Knowledge of responsible sourcing, farmer program management, and relevant protocols (e.g., Global Coffee Platform, EU Green Deal).
  • At least 5 years of experience in FMCG
  • Tech-Savvy and Strategic: Advanced expertise in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) data tools to optimize strategies and drive efficiency.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial skills to assess risks, sustainability metrics, and supply chain impact, ensuring effective and sustainable sourcing decisions.
