Pensions Solutions are looking for a Resource Manager to join their Projects and Programmes Team.
You will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of personnel within the team to ensure that the organisations goals and objectives are met. You will work closely with other departments to ensure that resources are allocated and used in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure that resources are used in the most effective way. You will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the performance of resources and making recommendations for improvement.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work closely with project managers to identify resource needs for upcoming projects.

  • Allocate resources in a manner that ensures all projects have the necessary resources to meet their objectives.

  • Monitor resource usage to ensure that resources are being used efficiently and cost-effectively.

  • Identify resource conflicts and work with project managers and department heads to resolve them.

  • Develop and maintain resource allocation policies and procedures.

  • Develop and maintain resource utilisation reports and metrics.

  • Coordinate with human resources and finance departments to ensure that resource allocation aligns with Organisational goals and budgets.

  • Evaluate and implement new tools and systems to improve resource management processes.

  • Proven experience as a resource manager or in a similar role.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Familiarity with resource management software and tools.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Understanding of project management methodologies.
