Key Qualifications:
-
Graduate of Social Science/Sociology; Master’s or Doctoral Degree in related field is an added advantage.

Experience as Resettlement Specialist or higher capacity in the feasibility study of preferably one (1) road/bridge project.

Attendance to trainings relevant to the assignment or position.

Experience of three (3) years in consulting services of any infrastructure projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Assist and coordinate the preparation of the Resettlement and Indigenous Peoples Plan (RIPP)/ Resettlement Plan (RP) for each road section in accordance with the project Resettlement and Indigenous Peoples Framework (RIPP).

Coordinate all mitigation measures recommended in the RIPP/RP for inclusion in the road design and plans specifically as regards to entitlements and assistance especially regarding relocation and livelihood restoration.

Formulate measures to ensure observance of proper and humane relocation and resettlement of Project Affected People (PAPs).

Performs other duties and responsibilities that will be required by the Employer and ADB.
