Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Researcher to support research operations, contribute to product management, and maintain high-quality standards in research output. The ideal candidate will have experience in research methodologies, data analysis, and research QA with a background in Social Science, Political Science, Management Technology, or Computer Science.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and data collection, ensuring data accuracy and quality.
- Assist in research product management, including development, execution, and analysis.
- Support research operations, maintaining workflow efficiency and timely project completion.
- Apply research QA practices to ensure the reliability and validity of findings.
- Produce research reports and deliver presentations of findings.
- Analyze and interpret research data using Excel and Google Sheets.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure research goals are met and provide insights for decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Political Science, Management Technology, Computer Science, or any relevant Social Science degree with knowledge of coding (but not for coding in the role).
- Final research project must be related to research and demonstrate independent project execution.
- Previous experience as a Teacher Assistant or similar role in academic settings.
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Certification in Quality Assurance or any programming language is a plus.
- Prior experience in research (academic, industry-based, or both).
- Familiarity with research QA processes and best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and presenting findings.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with research operations.
- Active participation in extracurricular activities, especially debating society.
