NVIDIA's technology is at the heart of AI revolution, touching people across the planet by powering everything from self-driving cars, robotics, and voice-powered intelligent assistants! Join a diverse applied research team that is building a next generation of Conversational AI systems.
We work on new language models for code and mathematics reasoning. Our team crafted the math reasoning model which won the latest Kaggle AI MO competition. We also develop algorithms to accelerate training large models on our GPU cloud. We release new models as part of NeMo - open-source toolkit for Conversational AI used by many companies for such applications as customer service, voice assistants, etc. We collaborate with research and product teams, as well as researchers from top academic machine learning labs.
What you'll be doing:
- Develop new Deep Learning models for on new language models for code and mathematics reasoning,
- Design new large scale training algorithm
- Open-source models using NeMo conversational AI frameworks
- Mentor interns
- Publish research papers on top AI conferences
- Collaborate with universities and research teams.
What we need to see:
- PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with specialization in Deep Learning

What We Do
NVIDIA’s invention of the GPU in 1999 sparked the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined modern computer graphics, and revolutionized parallel computing. More recently, GPU deep learning ignited modern AI — the next era of computing — with the GPU acting as the brain of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can perceive and understand the world. Today, NVIDIA is increasingly known as “the AI computing company.”
