The Future of Scalable Software Engineering (FoSSE) team in CoreAI, Microsoft, invites applications for research internships. FoSSE is an applied research team focused on solving real-world software engineering problems for large codebases, including code migration, code translation, and static analysis, using AI and formal methods. Our internship program provides an opportunity to work on practical research problems while collaborating closely with Microsoft researchers. Internships last three to six months.

The positions are based in Bangalore, where we are co-located with Microsoft Research India. FoSSE provides an excellent research environment and a welcoming, diverse community. - Working with FoSSE and other Microsoft colleagues on applied research problems at the intersection of PL, SE, and AI.
- Experimenting with and building tools that work on real world and large code bases.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Pursuing or completed Bachelor's / Master's / PhD in Computer Science or a related discipline.
This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.
