Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 3.5 GPA; CFA a plus
- Recent grad or up to 1 year of experience in equity research, investment analysis, or other relevant accounting or finance related work
- Bright, mature, and highly motivated with the desire to excel and ability to adapt in an intellectually challenging environment
- Passionate about capital markets and a desire to become highly skilled in equity research
- Securities Industry Essentials Exam, Series 86, 87 and 63 licenses strongly preferred but not required. New hires without these licenses will require successful completion upon hiring.

Duties:
- Support Research Analyst(s) in:
- Making bold calls and producing actionable research for Davidson’s institutional clients
- Researching market and industry trends and company specifics to become an expert in your sector
- Creating, maintaining, and updating data in financial models, and creating tables and graphs that clearly illustrate the information
- Formulate and issue opinions and recommendations on securities and companies in one or more industry groups
- Prepare reports and statistical data for dissemination to firm clients and the investing public
- Answer inquiries from customers, personnel of the firm, and the general public regarding individual securities or industry groups
- Discuss research findings with Sales & Trading associates and institutional clients
- (e.g., analysts and portfolio managers at top mutual funds and hedge funds)
