Job Summary:
The Reporting & Analytics Specialist is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining financial and operational reports, dashboards and automated analytics solutions. Leveraging tools such as Power BI, Oracle OTBI, Oracle BI Publisher and Fusion Data Intelligence, this role transforms complex, multi-source data into accurate, timely and actionable insights that support business strategies and decision-making. The Reporting & Analytics Specialist collaborates cross-functionally to understand reporting needs, translate requirements into scalable reporting assets and enhance data integrity through structured control processes. This role is instrumental in driving reporting automation, process improvement and data governance within the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI technology, including data modeling, data transformation and visualization best practices.
- Develop operational and financial reporting, using subject areas, custom analysis and data extracts. Build and optimize reports, including data models, templates, bursting logic and scheduled report delivery.
- Implement automated, recurring reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of key financial and operational insights.
- Translate business and accounting requirements into customized, actionable financial reporting outputs.
- Analyze complex data to provide insights, identify trends and support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial and operational analysis, benchmarking and variance reviews as required. Respond to regulatory and audit requests for information.
- Monitor data quality and integrity across all reporting sources; identify and resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for reporting and analysis by implementing quality control measures.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and deliver reporting and analytic solutions.
- Maintain detailed documentation for reporting logic, data models, refresh schedules and operational processes.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert for reporting tools, helping stakeholders define requirements and interpret insights.
- Stay current on emerging reporting technologies and analytics trends to continually enhance reporting capabilities.
- Ensure that all reporting activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
- Identify, recommend and implement automation and efficiency opportunities within reporting workflows.
Job Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with reporting and analytics tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics or related field and/or commensurate experience.
- Strong Proficiency with Oracle Financials or other Power BI reporting tools preferred.
Location:
Hybrid- defined as working three or more days per week in the office if the employee's residence is within 50 miles of Westfield Center, OH; OR Remote-if the employee resides more than 50 miles from Westfield Center, OH.
