Key Accountabilities & Role Requirements:
- Prepare the first draft of board reports to a high standard
- Responsible for preparation of VAT and PIB returns
- Responsible for preparation of RMAR and QF1 returns
- Responsible for preparation of quarterly TB’s for service companies to a high standard
- Posting weekly journals and review of bank recs
- Assistance with the year end external audit
- Any other ad hoc tasks
Skills & Competencies Required:
- Ability to resolve problems independently whilst paying attention to detail. Understand underlying finance structures and processes
- Insurance experience (Lloyd’s and company desirable)
- ERP/EPM systems (essential)
- Proficiency in Excel
- Data reconciliation experience and technical capability
- Adaptability and resilience – ability to work effectively under ambiguity and tight cutover timelines
Qualifications & Experience:
- Insurance accounting experience essential
- Oracle experience desirable
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in insurance accounting role
