Job Summary 

As a Renewal Specialist SMB (19120), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.  

Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Manage the end-to-end renewal process for the assigned SMB customer portfolio, ensuring timely and successful deal closures.
  • Collaborate with SMB CSMs and Account Managers to drive renewals, add-ons, and upsell opportunities that maximize bookings.
  • Engage proactively with customers to conduct discovery, address objections, and negotiate terms to prevent churn.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting by generating pricing quotes and managing renewal opportunities in Salesforce.

Qualifications and Skills 

  • Experience managing renewals, sales opportunities, or contract extensions within an SMB customer portfolio.
  • Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills focused on churn prevention and revenue retention.
  • Ability to analyze customer health, account status, and usage data to support renewal decisions.
  • Experience coordinating with Customer Success Managers and Account Managers on renewal and upsell strategies.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems, including opportunity management and deal documentation.
  • Experience generating pricing quotes and applying standardized pricing and approval processes.
  • Ability to manage 30, 60, and 90-day renewal pipelines with accurate forecasting.
  • Strong attention to detail when completing deal sheets, contracts, and CRM records.
  • Results-driven approach with the ability to consistently meet or exceed booking targets.
  • Ability to work independently in a high-volume SMB environment with minimal supervision.
