Why This Role Matters
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will support the reliable and efficient operation of equipment in the plant. You will apply maintenance engineering practices to help improve equipment performance, reduce downtime, and support safe and stable production operations.
What You’ll Do
Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and reliability improvement activities on production equipment, including presses, mixers, extruders, conveyors, and auxiliary machinery.
Support the improvement and troubleshooting of machine-level systems using knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical components such as pumps, valves, cylinders, and heat exchangers.
Implement and support preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance activities in a continuous production environment.
Work with maintenance and production teams to support safe working practices and ensure consistent technical standards across activities.
Analyze equipment failures and production losses using maintenance data and key performance indicators such as MTTR, MTBF, and availability to support improvement efforts.
Use predictive maintenance methods such as vibration analysis, ultrasound, thermography, and motor diagnostics where applicable.
Support lubrication practices, spare parts management, and equipment lifecycle planning based on asset needs and usage.
Participate in coordination meetings, shutdown planning, and continuous improvement activities with production, maintenance, and quality teams, with a focus on equipment performance and process stability.
What You’ll Bring
Basic Qualifications
VI/VII degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
At least 5 years of experience in maintenance, reliability engineering, or industrial manufacturing
Advanced English language skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and contribute to operational improvements
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with maintenance planning or reliability improvement methods
Familiarity with CMMS or SAP systems for maintenance tracking and reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Interest in improving equipment performance and learning industrial maintenance practices\
