Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements for approximately 50 reinsurance companies.
- Record and analyze accounting activity including cash transactions, accruals, reconciliations, investments, and other financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze tax returns and supporting schedules for assigned reinsurance entities.
- Complete tax-related filings, elections, correspondence, payments, and analyses, including specialized reporting requirements.
- Prepare domicile and licensing-related regulatory filings.
- Partner with Distribution and Client Wealth teams to evaluate company performance and prepare shareholder financial reviews.
- Serve as a key point of contact for shareholders, assigned companies, dealerships, and internal business partners.
- Gather, organize, and maintain documentation necessary to support financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory filings.
- Respond to financial, accounting, and reporting inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
