Become proficient in global regulatory filings completed by the RST team.
- Understand legal entity structures and applicability of regulatory filings
- Particular foucs on EU/UK Filings- EMIR, MiFIR, PRIIP's
Additional Tasks
- Contribute to the development and testing of software and workflows used for automated transaction reporting. This includes the management of reference data used by RST.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the RST global operational risk control framework.
- Developing automated solutions for validation checks.
- Be conscious of areas which can become more efficient through automation
- Provide monthly/quarterly MI data to RST manager for monthly reporting and quarterly board reporting.
- Proficient in following SEC/ESMA/FCA regulatory guidance and guidelines referring to the Q&A's, consultancy papers as required.
Active engagement with Vendors
- Ensure issues, errors and requests are logged and tracked to resolution with vendors, Delegated counterparties and internal stakeholders. Collaborate with vendor management team.
Technical and Business Knowledge
- Understand and be knowledgeable of the end to end EMIR & MiFIR process, including back-end, data feeds etc.
- Understand the business use and requirements
- Share technical knowledege with Barings colleagues, in particular linked to new regulatory requirements.

- Build strong, positive working relationships with RST team members. Enjoy being part of a team with manager support.
