- Sustainability
- Engage GSO suppliers in efforts to identify, document and improve sustainable manufacturing and operating practices in support of Brenntag sustainability strategy and TfS objectives.
- Serve as GSO representative to China/APAC TfS region and work stream programs.Report on activities and initiatives to GSO management and Brenntag sustainability group in Essen.
- Work functionally with BSP regulatory team as GSO compliance representative
- Performance
- Support GSO PMs to lead new and existing supplier audits and visits in accordance with necessary industry standards/certification, propose gaps and improvement plans accordingly, and monitor gap closure.
- Able to challenge the reports from 3rd party company audits of our suppliers as and when necessary and provide own feedback and improvements.
- Establish, communicate and monitor individual and team KPIs in support of Brenntag/GSO objectives. This includes but may not be limited to,
- GSO employee safety programs and near miss reporting guidelines
- Supplier audits, documentation and on-going compliance monitoring
- Supplier compliance with Brenntag code of conduct
- Non-conformance monitoring, follow-up, resolution and reporting
- GSO compliance with regional compliance programs including ADD and REACH
- Lead Compliance team members to identity and implement best practices to document, report and maintain GSO compliance.
- Provide direct supervision of team members to support problem solving and other activities as needed to meet individual and team KPIs.
- Develop, implement and maintain written SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure GSO compliance processes are clear, concise and well understood. Conduct periodic training of all affected GSO team members.
- Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university is required. Master’s degree in business Admin a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 8 - 10 or more required) years’ experience in auditing, quality, safety, health and/or environment within the specialty chemical industry (Food, personal care, pharma industries preferred).
- Others: Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Able to work effectively in the absence of daily direct supervision
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills able to work effectively in a multi-culture team environment

- Mature organization skills with strong attention to detail

Skills Required
