About the opportunity
Join Ericsson's Beijing Radio Interconnect Design team and help develop the technologies that enable reliable end-to-end connections between Ericsson Radio and Digital units in Radio Access Networks.
Our interconnect products include power cables, optical cables and high-speed connection solutions. The team works across system design, hardware, signal integrity, EMC, product verification, manufacturing and suppliers to maintain and qualify products for Ericsson's global radio portfolio.
What you will do-Support the development and qualification of interconnect products for Ericsson Radio Access Networks.-Analyze system-level requirements and translate them into component-level requirements and design solutions.-Support the design, selection and improvement of power cable, copper, aluminum and optical cable solutions.-Learn and apply principles of high-speed interconnects, signal integrity, electromagnetic compatibility and passive intermodulation.-Support simulations, measurements and verification at component and system level.-Participate in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and evaluation of alternative technical solutions.-Contribute to product requirement handling, technical analysis and continuous improvement of products and processes.-Support product lifecycle management, technical documentation and qualification records.-Collaborate with hardware, system, verification, manufacturing and supply teams to optimize product quality, cost and manufacturability.-Support communication with suppliers and follow up on technical issues, improvement activities and product delivery.-Build competence in the interconnect domain and contribute to the next generation of interconnect solutions for embedded digital units.
The skills you bring-A master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Electronics, Optical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.-Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, power distribution, cables, connectors, optical technology or wireless communication systems.-Interest in one or more of the following areas: copper and aluminum power cables, fiber-optic cables, high-speed signal integrity, EMC, PIM, component qualification or system verification.-Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to technical work.-Understanding of product development, verification or lifecycle management through coursework, projects, research or internships.-Experience with laboratory testing, measurement equipment, simulation tools or technical documentation is an advantage.-Programming or data analysis skills, such as MATLAB or Python, are a plus.-Willingness to learn, innovate, adapt to change and work across multiple technical domains.-Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional and multicultural teams.-Proficient English speaking and writing skills.
