Join a Growing Leader in Industrial Equipment & Automation
Afinitas is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join its Equipment & Automation division and drive growth throughout the Midwest territory. This individual contributor role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, expanding existing customer relationships, and promoting engineered capital equipment and automation. Working closely with inside sales and project management teams, the Regional Sales Manager will identify customer challenges, develop solution-based proposals, and manage opportunities from prospecting through project award. Reporting to the VP of Sales, North America, you will inherit and grow an established territory while identifying and developing new business opportunities. Success in this role requires a consultative sales approach, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to collaborate with engineering, project management, and service teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Preferred location is Dallas or Houston area; however, qualified candidates residing elsewhere within the territory will be considered.
What You'll Do
Grow and Manage a Sales Territory
Develop and execute territory growth strategies aligned with company revenue and profitability objectives.
Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and business development activities.
Expand relationships within existing accounts while identifying opportunities with new customers and markets.
Generate new business opportunities through consultative selling and solution-based conversations
Serve as a Trusted Customer Partner
Develop strong knowledge of Afinitas Equipment & Automation products, services, and capabilities.
Understand customer challenges and recommend customized equipment and automation solutions.
Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with customers and stakeholders.
Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers improve production efficiency, reliability, and performance.
Drive Commercial Success
Work closely with engineering, project management, and service teams to develop winning customer solutions.
Gather customer requirements and provide detailed information needed to develop accurate proposals and quotations.
Promote aftermarket services, spare parts, and field service offerings to increase customer value and revenue opportunities.
Manage and maintain sales activity, forecasts, and opportunity tracking within CRM systems.
Market Intelligence & Business Development
Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.
Identify opportunities in both established and emerging markets.
Provide market feedback regarding customer requirements, product enhancements, and competitive positioning.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
5+ years of successful B2B sales experience.
Experience selling capital equipment, industrial automation solutions, or technical products preferred.
Proven success growing existing accounts and developing new business opportunities.
Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Self-motivated and capable of independently managing a sales territory.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Comfortable discussing technical products and solutions with customers.
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.

At Afinitas, we believe in rewarding excellence, and your hard work will be duly recognized and appreciated. The compensation for this role will consist of a competitive base salary with a range between $95,000 - $105,000 commensurate with experience and geographical location plus high earning potential in uncapped commissions in addition to a robust benefits package.
