Position Summary:
The Regional Sales Director is a strategic leadership role focused on driving profitable growth within a specific region and states. The Regional Director oversees a sales team led by sales managers and effectively develops and implements the regional sales strategies that are executed by the team. This position requires regular travel throughout the state of Florida, Pennsylvania, and Georgia.
Position Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sales Planning:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive profitable growth
- Sales Management:
- Manage a regional team of Sales Managers and Sales Executives, providing guidance, coaching, and performance reviews.
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expand market share, and build strong relationships with key strategic partners
- Financial Performance
- Monitor sales results, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to regional budgets
- Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with independent agents and other distribution partners
- Strategic Thinking
- Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales plans
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years insurance sales experience and 5+ years leading people
- Skills:
- Advanced Industry experience .
- Advanced ability to Advise Agents.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
- Advanced relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Advanced ability to demonstrate resilience.
- Excellent financial acumen and the ability to analyze sales trends, sales metrics, and sales data

The range for this position is $129,500 to $215,700. When determining candidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location among other factors. This job is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and Kemper benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k, etc.)
