Reporting to the CPO for UK & South Africa, you will be responsible for the processing of all payrolls within the UKMEA & APAC regions. This consists of UK, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, China, Malaysia, India, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong and Thailand.
You will have a team of 5 people processing these payrolls. Your team is located in UK, Czech Republic, India & New Zealand.
Key responsibilities (but not limited to) listed below –
- Overall support for the payroll team with any questions on concerns they may have. You will be the key escalation contact for the region
- Respond to employee queries through internal ticketing system (and other forms of communication)
- Process payroll as and when required (cover holiday, sickness)
- Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time
- Review and sign off payrolls every month for all payrolls within the region
- Performance management – Monthly/quarterly reviews with all team members
- Set goals for each person in the team ensuring these are in line with FNZ’s overall objectives, monitor progress throughout the year. Provide guidance as and when needed.
- Manage the relationship with our global payroll provider (Cloudpay)
- Key payroll contact for Internal & External audit
- Ensure you and the team remain compliant with local legislation changes
- Maintain all payroll documentation (SOP’s, payroll processing guides)
- Be a key contact within FNZ for all things payroll. Liaise with key stakeholders from other areas of the business
- Look for ways to adapt, improve and streamline the payroll process
- Manage all end of year processing for the region
- Provide backup to the other Regional Payroll Manager (EMEA & US region)
- Help with ongoing and new projects alongside your day to day responsibilities
- Manage all incoming TUPE transfers from a payroll perspective, ensuring everyone is onboarded and paid correctly.
