Role Overview

We are seeking a Regional Marketing Director to lead enterprise-level marketing initiatives across Asia Pacific, elevating brand awareness, strengthening C-suite client engagement, and delivering strategic programs that support demand generation, client engagement, and brand growth across Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia.  The role will manage the regional marketing team based in Hong Kong and Singapore and is part of the Asia Leadership Team.

This role is critical in driving a step change in awareness across Asia Pacific of Broadridge’s trusted expertise and transformative technology in the region. While the role leads enterprise initiatives across Asia Pacific, it has a particular focus on Japan, where deeper localization of campaigns and marketing activity is required. The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic campaign planning, team management experience, hands-on execution, creative thinking, strong analytical skills, and thrives in a highly matrixed, global organization.  The ability to prioritize what matters most to achieving our growth ambitions in the region will be critical.

This role reports to the Head of International Marketing and works closely with regional and global marketing peers, Sales and Account Management, Senior Country Officers, and other business stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute the Asia Pacific enterprise level marketing strategy, aligned to global marketing priorities and regional business objectives.  Major focus will be on tokenization, scaling AI and shareholder engagement.

  • Lead the APAC marketing team to develop, prioritize and execute integrated marketing initiatives that build brand awareness, support client engagement, and drive demand generation in the asset management, capital markets and securities services segments across Asia Pacific markets.  Partner with segment and product stakeholders to support commercial priorities.

  • Create and deliver localized marketing plans for Japan

  • Translate global messaging, campaigns, and content into relevant, market-specific programs that reflect local client needs, market dynamics, and cultural nuances.

  • Build and implement an Account-Based Marketing (ABM) approach for APAC, in close partnership with sales and business leaders, to deepen engagement with strategic accounts.

  • Develop and execute initiatives (e.g. product showcases) to educate clients and prospects on the breadth and depth of Broadridge’s capabilities.

Brand, Thought Leadership & Executive Engagement

  • Own and drive regional brand initiatives in partnership with the global brand team to strengthen Broadridge’s market presence and ensure brand consistency.

  • Develop high-impact C-suite client hospitality and executive engagement programs that help build senior-level client relationships and elevate Broadridge’s profile among top decision-makers.

  • Support the development and localization of thought leadership content, client communications, and executive messaging to enhance market credibility and relevance.

  • In partnership with the regional marketing team, develop and enhance regional executive profiles in the local markets through locally relevant narratives, compelling talking points and clear direction on what we should be known for in each market.

  • Identify creative and differentiated approaches to increase awareness and engagement with priority audiences across the region.

Japan Marketing Leadership

  • Act as the marketing lead for Japan, developing and executing the local marketing plan in line with country priorities and broader regional strategy.

  • Drive further localization of marketing campaigns and content to ensure relevance and effectiveness in the Japanese market.

  • Oversee the enhancement and ongoing optimization of the Japanese website, ensuring content is current, locally relevant, and aligned to brand and business priorities.

  • Identify and manage the most effective event strategy for Japan, including selection of priority conferences, hosted events, roundtables, and executive forums with an emphasis on a small number of high impact initiatives rather than a high volume of events.

  • Manage the relationship with local PR and media agencies in Japan to support awareness-building, media engagement, and market visibility.

  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Country Officer and other senior leaders in Japan to actively engage in local industry bodies and associations to increase Broadridge’s voice in the Japanese market.

  • Support marketing activity into Korea, as needed, in alignment with regional priorities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with regional sales and account management teams to align marketing programs with commercial goals, client priorities, and growth opportunities.

  • Work with Senior Country Officers and senior business stakeholders across Asia Pacific to ensure strong alignment between marketing activity and in-market business objectives.

  • Collaborate with global and international marketing colleagues, as well as marketing centers of excellence including brand, digital, events, content, and communications teams.

  • Build strong partnerships across a matrixed organization to drive integrated execution and maximize impact.

  • Manage external agencies, vendors, and partners to ensure high-quality, on-brand delivery of programs and campaigns.

Performance Measurement & Optimization

  • Define clear objectives, KPIs, and success measures for regional marketing programs.

  • Track, analyze, and optimize campaign performance to improve engagement, brand impact, and contribution to pipeline and business growth.

  • Provide regular reporting, insights, and recommendations to marketing leadership and business stakeholders.

  • Use data and market feedback to continuously refine marketing strategy, channel mix, and investment decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally within financial services, fintech, capital markets, enterprise technology, or a similarly complex industry.

  • Proven experience developing and executing integrated regional marketing programs that drive brand awareness, executive engagement, and commercial outcomes.

  • Regional team management experience.

  • Experience in Japan marketing, including localization, events, website/content adaptation, and agency management a strong advantage.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate strategically while also being hands-on in execution.

  • Experience building or leading account-based marketing programs and targeted client engagement initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of executive-level marketing and relationship-building, including C-suite engagement and hospitality programs.

  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders across regions, functions, and seniority levels.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes at pace.

  • Strong analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset, with experience measuring marketing performance and using insights to optimize outcomes.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex business and technology topics into clear, compelling messaging.

  • Fluency in Japanese and knowledge of Asia Pacific markets, including Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia would be beneficial
