As part of the EMEA Logistics Sourcing team, the role supports a category portfolio representing approximately $400M in annual spend across the region and offers opportunities to grow into broader category ownership over time.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:
Category Strategy & Sourcing
- Own and execute sourcing initiatives within assigned logistics sub-categories and regional projects across EMEA.
- Support the development and execution of EMEA category strategies while ensuring regional and country-specific business requirements are addressed.
- Lead RFx processes, supplier selection activities, commercial negotiations, contract implementation, and supplier onboarding activities.
- Manage supplier relationships and drive improvements in cost, quality, risk mitigation, sustainability, and service performance.
- Conduct market analysis, supplier benchmarking, and category assessments to identify strategic sourcing opportunities.
- Support logistics network optimization initiatives, warehouse projects, distribution programs, and transportation-related sourcing activities.
Stakeholder & Business Engagement
- Build strong working relationships with Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Finance, and Commercial stakeholders across EMEA.
- Engage with senior stakeholders including General Managers, CFOs, Supply Chain leaders, and sourcing leadership to understand current and future business priorities.
- Act as the sourcing lead for assigned projects, coordinating cross-functional teams and driving execution.
Supplier Management & Continuous Improvement
- Lead supplier performance reviews, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor category and supplier performance metrics and implement corrective actions where needed.
- Support supplier transitions and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Leverage digital tools, automation, and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled sourcing solutions, to improve sourcing effectiveness and efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent professional experience.
- Significant experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Category Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related commercial function.
- Experience developing and implementing sourcing strategies and procurement processes.
- Experience leading supplier negotiations, RFx processes, and contract management activities.
- Experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including interaction with senior business leaders.
- Strong commercial, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment.
- Fluent English.
- Willingness to travel across EMEA up to 25%.
- Experience within logistics-related categories such as warehousing, transportation, distribution services, 3PL/4PL providers, packaging, or logistics operations.
- Familiarity with sourcing tools, e-sourcing platforms, procurement analytics, and contract management systems.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Interest in digital procurement, automation, and AI-enabled sourcing solutions.
