Job Summary:- Build and maintain efficient, cost‑effective accounting systems, policies, and procedures aligned with regional and corporate requirements.
- Ensure accurate implementation of accounting treatments and corporate financial policies.
- Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives across financial and accounting processes.
- Own and maintain regional accounting policies in line with Group and statutory standards; proactively highlight deviations.
- Develop the finance team, ensuring strong internal controls, proper segregation of duties and effective backup structures.
- Lead key financial reporting, including monthly budget‑to‑actuals and DSO performance.
- Support pre‑ and post‑acquisition processes for regional M&A targets.
- Engage with external partners to optimize corporate structure, ensure compliance and enable effective tax management.
- Prepare or support financial analyses for acquisitions, capital projects, and other strategic initiatives.
- Partner with Corporate to ensure treasury activities are current, aligned with best practices, and effectively managed.
- Lead the annual budgeting process for P&L, capital planning, headcount and KPIs.
- Contribute to strategic planning updates and scenario analyses.
- Ensure accurate statutory and legal entity reporting.
- Coordinate interim and year‑end external audits.
- Consolidate and report regional results, including business line and Global Business Unit reporting.
- Solve day‑to‑day issues and escalate risks appropriately.
- Build strong partnerships with regional operational and financial leaders.
- Analyze financial results and key drivers; compare performance to budget, prior year and FX‑adjusted forecasts.
- Prepare monthly reporting packages and participate in Finance and Regional Operations review meetings.
- Collaborate with global and regional teams to enhance forecasting, analysis, and information flow.
- Coach, develop, and mentor team members to support long‑term succession planning.
- Advise and support the Regional SVP in achieving strategic and operational goals.
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Accounting designation (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- 5+ years of progressive finance experience.
- Experience with ERP system development and optimization (ideally Workday).
- Strong analytical skills with proven reporting capabilities.
- Excellent communication (German and English) and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with solid technical understanding.
- High personal integrity and strong ethics.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and talent for developing and mentoring teams.
- Strong IT aptitude and comfort with financial systems.
