The Role

We’re on the lookout for a Regional Development Manager to join our Commercial Sales Team here at Covéa Insurance.

This role is remote, but will involve some days on the road in the Midlands area.

What will I be doing?

  • Leading the growth of Commercial business through strategic panel broker relationships and joint business planning
  • Collaborating across all functions to support delivery of business plans for Mid-Market, Specialisms, SME, and Schemes
  • Driving innovation in customer solutions and services while keeping up with external market developments to identify opportunities
  • Strategic development and operational sales responsibility for panel customers, managing tenders and deals
  • Build and maintain strong senior stakeholder relationships across Covéa Insurance to ensure personal credibility with key decision makers
  • Build and deploy effective customer account pipeline and prospecting approaches for each broke, maintaining a strong understanding of the competitors and brokers across the UK Commercial marketplace
  • Providing a service to all of customers that is memorable for the right reasons in accordance with the principals of Treating Customers Fairly, and building our reputation as a great company to work with
  • Working closely with the SRM and Leadership Teams to deliver effective sales ownership and deployment across the Commercial customer base, ensuring to achieve agreed sales plan goals, targets and action plans
  • Supporting the delivery of successful product launches and major customer/hospitality events in respect of advocacy and maximising attendees

What would we like to see in you?

  • Track record of sales and relationship development in the Commercial & HNW market, , with strong knowledge of the intermediated Commercial
  • A reputation for consistent delivery of excellent service to brokers and customers, with proven ability to deliver sales plan goals, targets and action plans
  • Excellent skills in building and maintaining strong internal stakeholder relationships, with an ability to take an holistic overview of a broker’s business and plans
  • Ability to develop and deploy a joint business plan with a panel broker, and mobilise actions to deliver that plan
  • Sound project management and business planning capability
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A ‘can do’ attitude and proactively seek solutions and opportunities
  • Share information and insight, and actively seek the views of others to ensure we reach the best decision for our business
  • Contribution to a culture of success; showing pride in and seeking opportunities to showcase the achievements of the team and our business
  • An innovative and resourceful in approach to problems and opportunities, positively challenging the status quo
