Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
•Responsible for providing technical applications support for the development and implementation of KLA optical thin film and SCD metrology in customer fabrication facilities.
•Be responsible for customers recipe development and setup, technical training, project execution, and related pre-sales activities. Assists sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs. Provides follow-up support in disseminating technical information on specific applications.
•Reports regional requirement and updates to product division.
•Escalates field apps issue to division and follow up for issue fix. Works on sophisticated problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
•Generate film and SCD recipe development BKMs and publish technical paper.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree, Masters with 2-4 years, or Bachelors with 3-5 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in engineering applications.
- Candidate must have Master’s or Ph.D.'s degree in Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or related fields.
- The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Candidate must be self-driven and a strong team player.
- Programming and scripting skills in MATLAB or Python are a plus
