Do you like to work on next generation technology at a leader in innovation? The Principal/Senior engineer works as an integral part of our enterprise SSD development and validation/application process on pre-silicon, post-silicon towards production, ensuring our products are timely to market and outstanding quality in the field! As principal or senior level we partner multi-functionally and cross-site with ASIC design, DV, firmware, validation and other engineering groups to collaborate and support ASIC to complete production.
Requirements
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of storage industry proven experience with mass storage systems
  • Experiences on ONFI interface, NAND flash protocol, basic PHY training, strong debugging skills on trace, protocol analysis, and root cause issue
  • Proven hands on experiences on ARM or ARC based SOC firmware design, validation and debugging.
  • 5+ years C coding for SSD embedded system, Python for automation test expertise preferred
  • DDR PHY/CTL or PCIe protocol/trace/PHY training is preferred
  • Familiar with reading board schematic of SSD drive and evaluation board
  • Experience with lab equipment and tools (JTAG debugger, PCIe analyzer/exerciser, logic analyzer, scope and etc.),
  • Highly effective, strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Excellent analytical, analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment with wide-ranging demand
