General Summary:
The Regional Accounting PO Recon position is responsible for all mill accounts payable and inventory costing functions to provide support to the Regional Accounting Group.
Location: Any UFP Location in the US
Principle Duties / Responsibilities:
Process and manage all mill AP.
Manage and maintain PO recon screen.
Manage and maintain unmatched receipts screen.
Manage and maintain invoice not received screen.
Manage and maintain vendor price maintenance.
Follow up and resolve PO claim issues.
Vendor inquiries as needed.
Develop positive relationships with plants and vendors.
Prepare various reports and maintains records as required.
Able to research and resolve costing and receiving discrepancies.
Able to research and resolve payment discrepancies and issues.
Close appropriate weekly MODS.
Perform other duties as needed.
Knowledge Required
Minimum high school diploma, bachelor’s degree preferred.
Extensive experience in administration/accounting highly preferred.
Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in administration/accounting; however, 3 to 5 years is preferred.
Experience with UFP business systems preferred.
Working knowledge and proficiency in the use of computer and business-related software, including Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Skills and abilities
Proficiency in the use of the English language in reading, writing, and speaking.
Proficiency in the use of business math.
Ability to successfully communicate with all organizational levels.
Ability to communicate clearly and politely via phone and email with plants, co-workers, vendors, customers and others.
Ability to develop relationships with vendors and customers.
Ability to prioritize and organize workload with minimum supervision.
Ability to follow directions and instructions.
Ability to work hours mandated by management.
Ability to pass a drug test.

Salary Pay Range: $50,000 - $56,000 annually dependent on experience*
*pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living
Bonus/Incentive Pay:
