The Regional Account Manager serves as the primary strategic liaison between CorVel and assigned customers, acting as an extension of the client organization. The role is responsible for client retention, revenue growth, service excellence, stewardship reporting, contract management, and identifying opportunities to expand CorVel services.
This position can be hybrid or remote.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage regional accounts with at least $1M in annual revenue per account and portfolio exceeding $5M
- Drive revenue growth through expansion of existing accounts and introduction of additional CorVel services
- Build and maintain executive-level client relationships
- Ensure client satisfaction, retention, and achievement of contractual services
- Oversee accounts receivable activities in partnership with operational leadership
- Lead client stewardship meetings and provide consultative guidance based on account trends and business needs
- Proactively raise concerns or potential issues to appropriate members of the management and executive team to remedy immediate concerns before they become issues; maintain an open items matrix to document all issues and resolution
- Coordinate account implementations, customer setups, and service delivery across internal teams
- Coordinate and attend customer meetings; ensure CorVel participants are engaged
- Discuss, understand, and meet agreed upon standards as mutually determined by CorVel and customer
- Develop/maintain account service instructions/communicate to service staff and post on the Intranet
- Manage contract renewals/price increases; coordinate with the AE and/or management team as appropriate
- Present information to assigned customers in an organized and persuasive fashion for contract renewals, service issue discussions, or additional product sales
- Regular attendance on the Monthly Account Manager Call
- Provide monthly account updates and document all new service opportunities in Salesforce.com
- Additional duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree, certification or equivalent experience in business, sales or marketing
- Proven experience in account management
- Experience in the insurance industry, managed care, worker’s compensation, or a related field
PAY RANGE:
CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.
For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.
Pay Range: $83,494 – $139,002
