Description

As the Recruiting and HR Coordinator you will work closely with the Regional HR Manager and assigned plants and leaders to recruit and onboard new employees and facilitate HR administrative duties. In this position, you will attract, screen, select and help onboard qualified and suitable personnel to fill job openings. You will also communicate directly with applicants, hiring managers and other members of Human Resources while ensuring a positive brand experience with each interaction. In addition to your recruiting responsibilities, you will provide human resource generalist support at the plant level along with additional administrative duties, as required. Starting Salary for this position is $22.00/hour; commensurate with skills and experience. Full benefits package included.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Effectively and efficiently source a qualified, diverse pool of candidates for the Company's open positions.
  • Work with hiring managers to present qualified applicants and schedule interviews accordingly, including phone, virtual and in-person interviews.
  • Manage the requisition request process, post approved jobs and manage job postings per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Evaluate and vet candidates as they apply to open positions. Assess applicant qualifications and determine candidacy for position requirements.
  • Assist in the placement of temporary employees, where needed, by communicating with agency representatives, scheduling interviews and facilitating appropriate onboarding.
  • Effectively and efficiently utilize company recruiting tool (ATS) to manage applicant pipeline and move candidates through the hiring process. Maintain accurate records of contacts, interviews, and hired candidates.
  • Schedule and facilitate new hire onboarding sessions.
  • Serve as first point of contact for employee questions or concerns around benefits, payroll, etc. Interface with other HR team members to answer employee questions.
  • Create and process documentation for employee changes through company systems including promotion, pay changes, etc.
  • Assist and support the plant with annual benefits open enrollment process.
  • Maintain employee personnel records according to company standard.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives (fun committee, employee recognition, etc).
  • Perform other administrative duties that support both the recruiting and human resource functions, as assigned.
  • Provide exceptional service to company employees and leaders.
  • Adhere to laws, rules and regulations.
  • Additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • HS (GED) diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Must have at least 2-4 years of similar work experience (Recruiting coordinator, Recruiter, HR Assistant, etc. with recruiting responsibilities, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment)
  • At least 1 year of experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS); Paycom preferred.
  • At least 1 year of prior HR administrative experience
  • Valid drivers license with acceptable clean motor vehicle record (MVR).

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must be outgoing, friendly, professional with exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects on deadline.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Familiar with recruitment marketing.
  • Proficient in MS office: (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, calendar)
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Able to utilize multiple types of virtual interview platforms (Zoom, MS Teams, Google Meet, Skype, etc).
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold high ethical standards.
  • Able to operate all standard office equipment (phones, computers, copy machine, fax, scanner, printer, projector, etc)

  • None

Training Requirements:

  • Willing to attend required training courses or sessions related to the job as assigned.

Physical Demands:

  • Lifting, sitting, standing, crouching, repetitive tasks.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test and subject to random drug screening.

Work Environment:

  • Regular exposure to dust and noise in the production environment.
  • Warehouse environment temperatures may be influenced by outside temperatures.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Eye protection is recommended when working on the production floor.
