Coopersinc.co is seeking a Recruiter on a Casual Part Time or Full Time Contract Role.

Rates and Commissions and splits are entirely negotiable as we have now grown to the point of needing another team member to work all our open positions across Ontario and Canada.

In this energetic role, you will lead the full-cycle recruiting process, sourcing top-tier candidates across various levels and industries.

Your expertise will help shape our temporary workforce and our client's permanent staffing needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and offer negotiations.
  • Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies through social media management, cold calling, research, and talent mapping to attract diverse candidates.
  • Conduct interviews with a focus on assessing technical recruiting skills, cultural fit, and potential for growth within the organization.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide strategic talent management advice.
  • Maintain compliance with employment & labour law regulations during all recruitment activities.
  • Lead initiatives in recruitment, executive recruiting, and succession planning to ensure long-term talent pipeline health.
  • Lead initiatives in sourcing temporary associates.

  • Proven expertise in negotiation and relationship management to secure talent effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging candidates via social media management platforms and cold calling campaigns.
  • Knowledge of employment law and contracts to ensure compliant hiring practices.
  • Familiarity with employee orientation processes and employee evaluation methods to facilitate smooth onboarding.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities using ATS platforms
  • Experience in training & development initiatives related to recruiting best practices and talent acquisition strategies.
