About the opportunity:
An opportunity to join a multidisciplinary Community Mental Health Team providing recovery focused care to consumers experiencing mental illness. The chance to be a part of the welcoming, friendly and highly skilled team at the Wyndham Clinic, Hoppers Crossing. We are passionate about providing an accessible high-quality service to the rapid growing, diverse community we serve.
- Full time position available
- 5 days per week - 08.30 - 17.00hrs
- Opportunity to do extended hours shifts on Thursdays and Saturdays
- Providing Case Management support to clients aged 26 - 65yrs
- Providing quality mental health and discipline specific, client centered assessment and treatment that is evidence based
- Works within a multidisciplinary team and lived experience workforce
About You:
- Qualifications as RPN3, OT 2, SW 2, or P 2
- A current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse; Occupational Therapist; Psychologist and eligible for Social Work Membership Endorsement
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- The ability to think critically and problem solve effectively
- Knowledge in different therapeutic techniques
- Knowledge about different referral pathways for clients requiring short- and long-term support
- Be consumer recovery focused care with consumers, inclusive of carers / families
- A good working knowledge of the Victorian Mental Health and Wellbeing Act and relevant legislation
