This role leads the Reconciliation team supporting ABOR/IBOR‑to‑Custody reconciliations in partnership with global State Street teams. The incumbent is accountable for end‑to‑end delivery of reconciliation operations, ensuring service excellence in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. The role requires strong collaboration with Business Operations and Technology teams to consistently meet client expectations.

This is a senior operational and managerial position within the Reconciliation function. The Assistant Vice President serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of cash and position reconciliations. The role demands hands‑on leadership to ensure SLA adherence, effective issue resolution, and appropriate escalation of unresolved matters.
What you will be responsible for
- Provide day‑to‑day leadership of the Reconciliation Management team across clients and units
- Drive process excellence through proactive management of the reconciliation exception lifecycle
- Own service delivery outcomes and client satisfaction, including direct client engagement
- Maintain a strong risk management and control environment
- Apply deep operational expertise to identify trends, resolve issues, and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with global teams to support timely client issue resolution
- Manage Client Change Requests impacting enterprise processes and operating models
- Communicate effectively with clients and senior management, ensuring timely follow‑up and resolution
- Develop, coach, and support team members to build capability and performance
- Lead transformation initiatives aligned to organizational goals
- Own and manage KPIs, KRIs, and OKRs for the assigned group
- Drive cost discipline, budget accountability, and a pay‑for‑performance culture
- Promote enterprise accountability, cross‑functional collaboration, and influence across regions
- Embed a culture of risk excellence, change, and continuous improvement

- Deep understanding of Middle and Back Office operations across multiple asset classes
- Strong knowledge of investment management technologies (TLM/TLP, IntelliMatch)
- Demonstrated experience in change management and process transformation
- Exposure to technology enablement tools (e.g., SQL, Python, low‑code platforms) is advantageous
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
