As a Receptionist at Apple Valley Villa, you will greet visitors, answer and route phone calls, help with administrative tasks, and provide exceptional customer service to guests. Our ideal candidate is passionate about working with seniors, has the ability to multi-task and assist with administrative support, and is friendly and professional in all situations.
Position Type: Part-Time, working weekdays and every other weekend and rotating holidays.
Shift Available: : Float Days, 6:45 am - 3:15 pm and Evenings, 2:45pm to 11:00pm
Wage Range: $17-$22.85 / hour Depending on experience. 
Location: 14610 Garrett Ave, Apple Valley, MN 55124

Receptionist Responsibilities:
  • Manage phone communications coming into the facility.
  • Greet visitors and guests professionally, warmly and determine their nature and purpose of visit.
  • Direct and/or accompany visitors and guest to appropriate destination.
  • Review, organize, post and audit resident trust account withdrawals in the billing system.
  • Sort and distribute Saturday mail.
  • Process weekly A/P invoices.
  • Perform various typing assignments and miscellaneous clerical duties for all departments as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as requested.
Receptionist Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent with previous customer service or reception experience.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Place a high priority on customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to prioritize and organize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Able to work with frequent interruptions.
  • Dependable, punctual and able to work flexible hours.
