USESI is seeking a Warehouse Manager to join our Distribution Center team. We are looking for a results-driven leader who is passionate about developing people, driving operational excellence, and creating a safe, efficient, and customer-focused warehouse environment.

Position Overview

The Receiving Manager is responsible for leading the Inventory Control and Receiving functions within the Distribution Center while providing operational oversight and support across all warehouse operations. This role ensures inventory accuracy, efficient receiving processes, and compliance with company standards while partnering with warehouse leadership to drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service throughout the facility.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead the daily operations of the Inventory Control and Receiving departments, ensuring accurate product receipt, inventory integrity, and efficient warehouse flow.
  • Provide operational oversight and support for all warehouse functions, including replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and order fulfillment, in partnership with warehouse leadership.
  • Develop, coach, train, and lead Inventory Control and Receiving team members while supporting the development of supervisors and associates across the warehouse.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop employees to build a high-performing team.
  • Establish and monitor productivity standards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and operational metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, safety, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counting, auditing, reconciliation, stock rotation, and inventory control processes.
  • Utilize reporting tools to analyze operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Transportation, Sales, Purchasing, Human Resources, Inventory Control, and warehouse leadership to ensure efficient workflows and exceptional customer service.
  • Assist in developing and managing departmental budgets while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and all applicable federal, state, and local safety requirements.
  • Promote a culture of safety by conducting inspections, investigating incidents, implementing corrective actions, and reinforcing safe work practices.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsEducation
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of warehouse operations or distribution center leadership experience.
  • Experience leading inventory control and receiving operations preferred.
  • Previous experience supervising, coaching, and developing warehouse teams.
  • Experience improving warehouse processes and operational performance.
  • Wholesale distribution experience is preferred.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Experience with Solar Eclipse ERP is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze operational data and make informed business decisions.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications
  • Warehouse Management, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and moving throughout the facility.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or alternate schedules as business needs require.
