Northrop Grumman is seeking Associate Cyber Software Engineer to join Mission Systems. This position will be located in Chantilly, VA
Roles and Responsibilities
As an Associate Cyber Software Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Secret Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
- Develop and deliver software to meet mission partner requirements.
- Participate in Agile team process
- Develop both user and developer-level documentation.
- Participate in setting the team’s technical direction in alignment with operational requirements and the sponsor’s technical roadmap.
- Collaborate with the team to review and improve processes (development, test, governance, stakeholder interactions),
- Communicate project status, roadblocks, technical and process proposals to the team and stakeholders.
- Prioritize development efforts with mission partners.
- Define the complexity, scope, and resources needed to integrate new requirements.
Basic Qualifications for Associate Cyber Software Engineer (T01):
- Current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI
- Must possess an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university. Must be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution
- Having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
- Experience with programming languages such as C#, C/C++, Java and/or Python
- Experience developing software on Agile teams.
- Strong ability to collaborate and excel on a team.
- Creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to visualize and implement innovative solutions to problems.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle.
- Must possess an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university. Must be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution
- Having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience working in Linux and Windows environments.
- Active DoD Top Secret / SCI security clearance
- Experience with Development Operations (DevOps)
- Experience with Jenkins and GitHub
- Experience with Atlassian Jira
- Experience Scripting languages (bash, bat etc.).
- Experience with JSON
- Knowledge of system and network architecture
- Knowledge of SIGINT operations

Intern Pay Range:
Salary Range Level 1: $96,700 -$103,800
