Join our Global R&D team and play a key role in shaping the future of thermoplastic foam technologies. In this role, you will drive innovation projects, and contribute to the development of next-generation products and technologies.
Your Tasks
Lead product and process development projects for thermoplastic foams from concept through commercialisation
Develop and evaluate innovative products, technologies, and applications to support business growth
Design and execute research activities to assess technical and commercial feasibility
Support the scale-up and transfer of new technologies across global/regional manufacturing sites
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver development projects and innovation initiatives
Contribute to intellectual property protection through invention disclosures and patent support
Provide technical expertise, project reporting, and stakeholder communication across the organization
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards in all R&D activities
Your Profile
MSc or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Polymer Chemistry, or a related discipline
Minimum three years of experience in Research & Development or Innovation within a technical or industrial environment
Practical experience in thermoplastic processing, including extrusion foaming technologies
Strong project management skills and experience working in cross-functional development projects
Solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
Results-oriented and innovation-driven approach to technical development
Fluent English and Polish, both written and spoken
Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with diverse stakeholders in an international environment
Willingness to travel ~30% across EMEA manufacturing sites and the German R&D Center
