Wells Fargo is seeking a Quantitative Model Solutions Specialist.
In this role, you will:
- Participate in or help entry-level positions with low to moderately complex model maintenance and optimization initiatives related to operational processes, controls, reporting, testing, implementation, and documentation
- Analyze basic data sets, quantitative models, and model output to validate model efficiency and results in support of business opportunities
- Provide design thinking and best practices to resolve basic model optimization methodology and processes
- Present recommendations to leadership for resolving low to moderately complex situations by exercising independent judgment while developing expertise in quantitative model operations
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- 2+ years of quantitative model solutions or quantitative model operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Bachelor's degree in finance, statistics, computer science, Information Technology, or a related field with minimum of 2+ years of experience
- Experience in Finance/Credit/Banking Modelling with a strong understanding of industry specific SDLC processes
- Experience with Python/R or SAS and Excel
- Strong expertise in data engineering & analysis and ability to handle large volume of data efficiently.
- Demonstrated experience in Platform Migration/ Model Reengineering projects in finance sector.
- 2+ years of experience in data visualization tools like PowerBI/ Tableau/ Qlikview
- Proven experience in developing Automated Testing Frameworks in python using Pytest/Selenium.
- Good understanding of Database concepts, DB testing and writing SQL queries.
- Good communication skills to be able to work with Global teams.
- Develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts, test plans and automation framework for data migration activities, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Possess strong risk acumen and functional knowledge of procedures, risks, controls, compliance, testing, validation, assessment of findings, escalation, and reporting, while developing business acumen
- Partner with business partners to understand the environment and related initiatives to develop appropriate and complementary testing procedures.
- Work closely with finance/credit modelling teams to understand domain specific testing requirements and provide innovative solutions
- The successful candidate will be a team player and a self-starter who is accustomed to working in complex organizations, partnering with a diverse group of stakeholders, and achieving results.
