Job Description SummaryThe successful Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Programmer is one that is conscientious, detail orientated, and a self-starter able to work from a verbal or written instruction. They are committed to quality, precision, and timeliness in their deliverables. These deliverables are achieved while maintaining a safe and organized working environment.
Job Description:
Final and in process inspection of tooling, components, and prototype parts using CMM and various gauges as required
Ability to program and operate Zeiss CMM using Calypso software
Ability to read blueprints and understand product specifications and requirements
Ability to perform measurements of precision components to ensure specifications are met
Ability to perform general shop math
Ability to measure close tolerances
Completion of customer inspection reports per instructions and requirements
Performs preventive maintenance tasks as required
Required Skills and Education
High School diploma
