About the job
As our new Quality System Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing our comprehensive quality management system. Your role will emphasize enhancing and optimizing quality processes. Some of your main tasks include:

Manage quality aspects directly related to ISO standards.

Contribute to developing quality management systems, focusing on auditing processes, KPIs management, training and competencies development, SOPs, instructions, and improvement projects/activities.

Support line management and stakeholders in fulfilling their quality accountability.

Actively contribute to maintaining and improving the defined quality levels of processes.

Ensure customer requirements are fully met, by e.g. establishing quality control measures like PPAP, Quality Control plans, etc.

Promote and manage continuous improvement projects in the quality area, aligning with Alfa Laval’s Quality Strategy.

As a person, you are a proactive and confident professional who makes things happen with clarity and precision. You are competent and experienced with a strong belief in your abilities. You quickly grasp the core of complex problems and focus on the most critical aspects to drive effective solutions. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to convey complex material clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders. You excel in project management, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope. Your teamwork skills shine in cross-functional teams, where you collaborate effectively with colleagues from various departments. Furthermore, your cross-cultural awareness enables you to navigate and respect diverse perspectives, fostering an inclusive and productive work environment.
What you know
We expect you to have 7+ years of experience in Quality Systems and ISO standards with a strong background in production and site-level quality management. Experience in Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement tools and Lead Auditing certification is highly advantageous.
As part of a global organization, speaking and writing English is a prerequisite.
