Hitachi Energy is looking for a Factory Quality Control Specialist for the Business Unit Transformers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will ensure products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous
inspection and testing, aligning with internal, customer, and industry requirements. You will monitor the quality of transformers and their components throughout manufacturing, delivering data-driven insights to drive

How you will make an impact
Conduct thorough testing of incoming materials, sub-assemblies, and final products to ensure they meet
predefined specifications and quality standards.
Ensure all testing operations comply with industry regulations, company policies, and ISO standards.
Prioritize safety in product testing activities by following HSE protocols and best practices.
Perform inspections and tests on incoming materials in accordance with the Quality Control Plan and
industry standards.
Ensure manufacturing inspections and tests are carried out accurately and comply with predefined quality
standards.
Ensure test equipment is used correctly, maintained, and calibrated by authorized personnel.
Collect, record, and securely store test and inspection data to support data-driven decision-making.
Identify and document defects or non-conformances, escalating issues to ensure only compliant products proceed.
Candidate must have worked and experience in manufacturing quality control of Core, Active part, Winding, VPD, Final Assembly processes of power transformer up to 765 kV and Reactors.
He should have experience in dealing with customer FAT for quality related testing activities, dispatch activities and documentation.

Skills Required
- Experience in manufacturing quality control of Core, Active part, Winding, VPD, Final Assembly processes of power transformers up to 765 kV and Reactors
- Experience handling customer Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for quality testing activities
- Experience with dispatch activities and related documentation
- Knowledge of ISO standards and ensuring testing operations comply with industry regulations
- Knowledge of HSE protocols and safety procedures for testing activities
- Ability to use, maintain, and ensure calibration of test equipment
- Experience performing inspections, recording test data, and documenting non-conformances
