Job Description
In this position, you will be part of the Quality & Reliability team, supporting the development and manufacturing of high-performance, revolutionary Solid State Drives (SSDs) that are under high-volume manufacturing at ODMs in PRC and other regions in Asia.
Your primary responsibilities will involve supporting the implementation of test content for high-volume manufacturing and resolving module failures from both product development and manufacturing stages to ensure that product quality and reliability requirements are met.
Your secondary responsibilities will include the designing and coding test programs that apply dedicated stress to SSD drives, simulating customer usage and ensuring that our SSDs comply with Solidigm and industry reliability standards. You will identify failure modes, conduct failure analysis on modules and/or components from test perspective to determine root causes, and provide containment measures and fixes.
Additionally, you will utilize lab tools such as bench testers, and other test systems to perform drive-level failure analysis and debugging.
You will work closely with various partners, including Product Engineering, Systems Engineering, Test Engineers, Design Engineers, Firmware Specialists, Materials Teams, and ODMs, to ensure the adequate quality and reliability of Solidigm-branded SSD modules.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
- Experience in software or firmware development is preferred.
- Proficiency in coding with C/C++/Python is necessary.
- Knowledge of databases, particularly mySQL and SQL, is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in test methodology coding and strong problem-solving skills are required.
- Experience working with PC systems, SSDs, or HDDs is advantageous.
- Fluent in both oral and written English.
- Good teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries with teams from both the US and Asia.
