The role requires onsite work in Gdansk and collaboration with firmware engineers while building practical software development experience.

Develop and maintain software-based system models for enterprise NAND SSDs, providing forward-looking insights for SSD development and productization. Assess deployed and prospective systems against customer and business requirements, analyze large datasets, and communicate findings through written and oral presentations. The role requires C++ and Python proficiency, experience with development collaboration ecosystems, data analysis, and AI-assisted coding, with SystemC and SSD behavior modeling preferred.

Develops and maintains low-level C/C++ firmware for SSD products. Responsibilities include embedded architecture, storage interface development, unit and system testing, failure analysis, debugging, operating-system and device architecture, and collaboration with hardware and ASIC teams. The role translates product requirements into development and validation plans, coordinates engineering milestones, and participates in Agile/Kanban processes. The intern validates data, prepares leadership presentations, supports automation and process optimization, and assists with employee engagement initiatives and organizational events.

Supports direct-material procurement for integrated circuits used in data-center SSDs. Responsibilities include supplier analysis, sourcing, RFQs, pricing and capacity tracking, market research, supply-chain risk analysis, supplier performance monitoring, demand coordination, cross-functional communication, cost-saving analysis, and procurement documentation. The intern also uses Excel, digital tools, and approved AI applications while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with procurement policies.

Develop and verify SoC designs for SSD products, including digital logic, functional units, full-chip designs, synthesis, place and route, timing, power, and manufacturing-ready databases. Collaborate on microarchitecture, verification strategy, simulation, and customer-driven features. Use UVM, formal verification, and firmware co-simulation while managing risks, technical issues, project plans, and stakeholder communication. The role also investigates new tools and supports complex ASIC/SoC development and verification efforts.

Develops SoCs for SSDs through digital logic design, RTL simulation, functional verification, implementation, synthesis, place and route, timing, and power analysis. Collaborates on microarchitecture, verification strategy, system simulation, test plans, and manufacturing-ready design databases. Requires advanced digital logic skills, ASIC/SoC development experience, debugging ability, and proficiency with verification methodologies such as UVM and formal property verification.

Manage a team of supply chain analysts overseeing supply planning and product build execution for high-volume enterprise SSDs. Develop factory network build strategies, align supply with customer demand, lead priority and recovery planning, and balance inventory, revenue, cost, and customer requirements. Partner with operations, manufacturing, sales, business operations, and component teams while driving planning process improvements and communicating risks and mitigation plans to senior leadership.

Designs and executes NAND memory cell and array characterization experiments, develops production trims, analyzes performance and reliability data, builds predictive models, and improves test yields. The role applies NAND device physics and statistical analysis while collaborating with device, design, reliability, product, test, and wafer fabrication teams. Responsibilities include driving wafer-level reliability experiments, tracking degradation, communicating parameter trade-offs, and releasing optimized trims for high-volume manufacturing.

Supports the Innovation PMO by developing processes to evaluate engineering work for publications, white papers, patents, and other intellectual property.
