Quality Officer
Are you an experienced Quality professional with a passion for aviation safety, airworthiness, and regulatory compliance? Join our team and play a key role in maintaining and continuously improving our Quality Management System within a Part-145 maintenance environment.
What you'll doAs Quality Officer, you will work closely with the QHSE Manager to ensure compliance with NLD-MAR-145, AS9110, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other applicable aviation regulations and standards. You will be responsible for driving quality assurance activities and supporting continuous improvement across the organization.
Your responsibilities include:
- Planning and conducting internal audits and supporting external and regulatory audits.
- Maintaining and improving the Quality Management System, including procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
- Managing non-conformities, root cause analyses, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitoring quality performance, analyzing trends, and preparing management reports.
- Advising Operations and Maintenance teams on quality, compliance, and airworthiness matters.
- Supporting product safety initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Liaising with aviation authorities, customers, and external auditors.
- Monitoring QMS-related training and maintaining qualification records.
- Acting as the QHSE Manager's deputy when required.
We're looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
You have:
- A technical education, preferably in Aviation, with Bachelor-level working and thinking capability.
- Experience in an aviation maintenance environment (Part-145, EMAR-145 or NLD-MAR-145).
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, Safety Management Systems, and aviation regulations.
- Experience with or certification as an Internal Auditor (or the willingness to obtain it).
- Strong analytical, auditing, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English.
