Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Senior Quality Manager located in Milpitas, California.

Direct report to General Manager the Senior Quality Manager is the senior quality leader responsible for developing and executing the site's quality strategy to support business growth, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. Reporting to the General Manager, this role provides leadership for Operational Quality, Supplier Quality, Customer Quality, Quality Management Systems (QMS), Compliance, and Continuous Improvement initiatives across Automotive, Cloud, Industrial, and advanced manufacturing operations.

The Senior Quality Manager leads quality systems supporting SMT, PCBA, Backend Manufacturing, Mechanical Assembly, Box Build, Rack Assembly, System Integration, and Cleanroom Manufacturing environments. This position is responsible for driving quality performance, mitigating risk, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of quality, customer focus, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

  • Lead and execute the site's quality strategy to support operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership for Operational Quality, Supplier Quality, Customer Quality, QMS, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement functions.
  • Drive quality performance improvements through CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, statistical methods, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Lead customer audits, certification audits, supplier quality initiatives, and quality performance reviews.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams to improve manufacturing quality, yield, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing quality organization focused on accountability, engagement, and operational excellence.

The Experience We're Looking to Add to Our Team

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of progressive quality leadership experience within manufacturing environments.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience managing multiple quality disciplines and teams.
  • Experience supporting Automotive, Industrial, Cloud Infrastructure, EMS, or related manufacturing industries.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, Supplier Quality, Customer Quality, Manufacturing Quality, and Regulatory Compliance.
  • Demonstrated expertise in CAPA systems, Root Cause Analysis, statistical quality tools, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Experience with Automotive Core Tools including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and MSA.
  • Proven success driving quality improvements, audit readiness, and customer satisfaction within high-volume manufacturing operations.
