Position Overview

We are seeking a Quality Manager to lead, maintain, and continuously improve our quality management system (QMS) within our ISO 9001 certified manufacturing facility which produces thermal management products (HVAC) for mission critical data centers. In this role, you will oversee all quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) functions specifically tailored to high-density, mission-critical data center cooling solutions.

You will ensure that our liquid cooling systems, heat exchangers, and air-handling units meet stringent performance, reliability, and regulatory standards including ETL and ISO 9001.

You will act as the plant’s quality subject matter expert (SME), driving improvements, CAPA, and ISO 9001:2015 compliance while coordinating with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

QMS Leadership & ISO 9001 Compliance

  • Maintain and continuously improve the facility's quality processes
  • Participate in all internal, customer, and third-party registrar quality audits.
  • Formulate and maintain quality assurance objectives that complement corporate policies and goals.
  • Interpret and communicate the organization’s quality assurance philosophy to key personnel.
  • Establish, track, and report on organizational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and cost of quality.
  • Develop and execute quality strategies that improve product quality, operational performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish, monitor, and report key quality performance metrics, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Product QA & Reliability

  • Oversee quality standards for all products manufactured in the facility.
  • Perform quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements.
  • Apply statistical process control (SPC) methods to analyze data, evaluate current processes, and assess process changes.
  • Review quality assurance data to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities.

Operations Quality

  • Ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Own the site’s Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) system to resolve root causes of defects.
  • Oversee the non-conforming material control process and drive Material Review Board (MRB) actions.
  • Keep the management team informed of significant quality issues, developments, and corrective actions being taken.
  • Prepare and present technical and program information to the management team.
  • Direct technical and administrative personnel engaged in quality assurance activities.
  • Play an active role on quality management teams within the organization.
  • Design and implement quality assurance training programs for key personnel in conjunction with managers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field
  • ​​Deep knowledge of Core Quality Tools: FMEA, SPC, CAPA, PPAP, Audits.
  • 5+ years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Direct experience with thermal management, HVAC, industrial fluid dynamics, or data center hardware preferred.
  • Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor credentials preferred.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CMQ/OE) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Splitting time between an office environment and the manufacturing test floor.
  • Occasional exposure to manufacturing noise, pressure testing bays, and electrical test equipment.
