BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as Intern for Quality Management System at our production plant in Viana, Portugal.

                                                                  

Key Responsibilities:

Systematic follow-up of audit actions:

  • Structured recording of corrective, preventive, and improvement actions;
  • Regular updates on action status in management tools (Action Plans, trackers, QMS software – AGIR).

Timely closure of actions with evidence of effectiveness:

  • Ensure compliance with defined deadlines;
  • Validate the effectiveness of implemented actions based on objective criteria (e.g., absence of recurrence, improvement of indicators).

Effective interaction with multidisciplinary teams:

  • Clear and proactive communication with action owners;
  • Support in clarifying regulatory requirements and defining appropriate actions.

Improved traceability and transparency in the audit process:

  • Organize supporting documentation for audits and actions;
  • Contribute to progress reports and monitoring dashboards.

Development of competencies in automotive standards:

  • Practical application of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, TISAX, and Core Tools requirements;
  • Participation in training sessions or review of internal standards and procedures.

Profile We are looking for:

  • Education: Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Management, or related fields;
  • Basic understanding of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949);
  • Familiarity with management tools (Excel, Power BI, QMS)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities;
  • Proactive and deadline-oriented.
  • Intermediate English level;
