As a quality engineer, you will have to:
- Perform quality system audits (Exotec template 006222) for supplier introduction and supplier continuous improvement.
- Support Purchasing in selecting the best vendors
- Track and complete actions plans to resolve quality issues, and improve supplier quality performance
- Facilitate the coordination with development teams for new product development and product quality improvement
- Validates the “First Order Inspection” for new products
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Management, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in supplier quality management, supplier audits, or quality engineering within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with Chinese suppliers and manufacturing sites is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, auditing methodologies, and continuous improvement tools.
- Bilingual English/Chinese. Position available under a wage portage arrangement.
