Primary Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and performance testing
  • Develop robust automation scripts using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber (BDD)
  • Build and manage API automation frameworks using Rest Assured, Postman, or equivalent tools
  • Execute and maintain functional, regression, system, and integration test suites
  • Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster feedback cycles
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimise automation scripts to improve stability and execution efficiency
  • Perform non-functional testing (performance, reliability, scalability) where applicable
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is embedded across the SDLC
  • Continuously enhance test coverage, frameworks, and testing strategies in an Agile environment
  • Contribute to development activities to improve application quality and testability
  • Develop utilities, mocks, and reusable components to support automation frameworks
  • Assist in backend/service-level development using Java/Spring Boot
  • Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and implement bug fixes
  • Support CI/CD pipeline enhancements and implement automated quality gates
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks and tools
  • Experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or equivalent
  • Experience in API testing and automation using Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions
  • Solid knowledge of end-to-end automation framework development, including reusable component design and integration
  • Solid understanding of testing methodologies such as TDD, BDD, and data-driven testing
  • Proficient in programming languages: Java, Spring Boot
  • Proven solid problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)
  • Domain knowledge of Payment Card systems (Issuing, Transactions, Authorization flows, ISO standards, etc.) is highly preferred
  • Understanding of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, etc.)
  • Familiarity with modern reporting/observability tools
  • Proven exposure to containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) and microservices architecture
