Key Responsibilities
- Create, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans for web and mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and system testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, clarify doubts, and ensure proper test coverage.
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Validate UI/UX consistency and application behavior across devices/platforms.
- Perform database validation using basic SQL queries.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimations.
- Provide concise and clear test reports for stakeholders.
- Work with the automation team to identify test cases for automation and contribute to simple automation scripts.
Must-Have Skills
- 4+ years of experience in Manual Testing.
- Strong knowledge of PDLC, SDLC, STLC, and Defect Lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with test case design techniques (boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, etc.).
- Familiarity with API Testing (Postman, REST APIs, Swagger).
- Exposure to automation tools such as Playwright.
- Experience in Agile environments.
- Knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Leverage AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, or similar technologies to improve test design, analysis, documentation, and productivity.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Knowledge of version-control tools like Git.
- Experience in testing cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter) is a plus.
- HealthCare billing domain knowledge.
