Grainger Management LLC is seeking a Quality Engineer in Lake Forest, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 5 years related experience. Prior experience must include: Analyzed and investigated issues found during quality analysis and worked to resolve them with the relevant parties; Coordinated between the Testing team, prioritized and worked together and created Automation scripts using Spec flow and C# and executing pipeline Test Suites; Performed complete root cause analysis of defects before submitting to the developer for a fix and created and managed test data for functional/ nonfunctional scenarios and test environments; Created test data for the scenarios and performed functional, regression testing in respective environments, involved in story grooming, sprint planning, retrospective & showcase, followed up and helped in Defect triaging; Wrote & executed performance test scripts, generated performance testing reports, coached new joiners and monitored stability of API performance in production environment and highlighted & raised issues as and when found; Gained experience with test automation tools (Cucumber, Selenium, JBehave-Serenity, Testlink) and karate framework for webservices components testing using Javascript & Cucumber; Developed few stories for enhancement of the webservice components in Spring framework using Java technology and auxiliary technologies (SVN, GitLab, Jenkins); Worked with Business partners, Product owners (PO), Scrum teams, and Developers to understand business & functional requirements, produce test plans, request test data, participate in acceptance sessions, review acceptance criteria and participate in deployment activities. 100% remote work allowed from anywhere in the U.S. Please submit resume to https://jobs.grainger.com, reference job #316113.
